Little girl puppet complete

Here I have completed the girl puppet. Made from reticulated foam & fully covered in antron fleece. Each hand has an invisible rod reciever for the arm rod to be inserted & removed. Cheers, Daniel

Ok so here as you can see arms have been added & a set of removeable arm rods. Ive also styled her hair in bunches to make her look cuter.Some little touches still need to be added. Cheers Daniel.

Building girl puppet

Hey, so Ive now added the puppets wig (which has been cut and styled).

Tip for working with wigs on puppets - try not to use a brush as this can put pressure on the puppets head. Instead use the wrong end of a paint brush to style the hair.

ive also given her a nice top - next arms need to be added.

Policeman head painted

The next step is to paint the puppet with acrylics mixed with a water based varnish. A Matt varnish will be added as these type of puppets take quite a bit of knocking when in performance.

Punch & Judy policeman puppet

Here ive just carved a policeman head out of pine wood. This is going to be a hand puppet for the Punch & Judy show. He has been given an undercoating of white and now is ready to be painted.

Hey,

Im just building a girl puppet at the moment. Ive constructed her out of reticulated foam and fabricated in antron fleece. As you can see on the pictures I added some facial features & have begun to build the body.

More updates as I make it.
